Cidvin is a fan-created term that stands for the romantic relationship of Cid Highwind and Vincent Valentine from Final Fantasy VII. This slash pairing is very popular, though not as much so as some other yaoi couples. This couple is also called Valenwind.

Japanese artist K. Haruka has created a plethora of Cidvin doujinshi.

The most recent Cidvin kerfluffle occurred in the beginning of February 2007. The wank, as recorded on Fandom_Wank, involved a FFVII fan who insisted that because Cid and Vincent don't fulfill his stereotypical idea of gay men, they aren't a feasible couple to ship.
